About VRSTF

Every veteran has a story worth hearing—and a community worth finding.

VRSTF is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving veterans and military-connected families in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. We create connection, coordinate practical support, and build trusted pathways to help.

Our Mission

Support that starts with the person.

We uplift veterans and their families through community-driven events, peer connection, tangible resources, and navigation that respects each person's choices and circumstances.

VRSTF does not need to be every service. Our role is to know the network, strengthen it, and remain a dependable safety net when someone does not know where to begin or has fallen through the cracks.

Veteran-led

Lived experience shapes how we listen, build trust, and respond to the realities military-connected people face.

Community-powered

We bring nonprofits, providers, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors together because no single organization can meet every need.

Action-focused

We move beyond handing someone a list. We help identify a practical next step and build connections that can hold.

The People Behind the Mission

Built by people who show up.

Our working community includes veterans, military family members, caregivers, advocates, volunteers, providers, and local partners. Different experiences, one commitment: make it easier for people to find support and belonging without judgment.
